Women's Ministry exists to equip, encourage, embrace and engage women from all walks and stages of life to live a journey of faith that transforms them to be more like Jesus.
And it is on this journey that we discover that in every part of our lives, we are solely and desperately dependent on Jesus. Our desire is that women find biblical answers to their life questions, that they find hope in their times of hopelessness and find wisdom in the midst of their challenges through a deep understanding of God's love, mercy and grace.
Through Bible studies, prayer ministry, special events and retreats we provide places for women to discover, refine and use their gifts, passions and talents. As we become more aligned with life in God’s kingdom here on earth we find ourselves to be women who are in ministry to one another, the body of Christ, and the world beyond the walls of Stanwich Church.
We invite you to join our community of women and that you will experience authentic relationship with other women and with Christ. As you become part of our community it is our hope that you will experience the unspeakable joy of being solely and desperately dependent on Jesus.

Women in Action
This summer women from Stanwich Church went to the nearby Young Life camp to host Younglives. Through the Younglives program, teen moms are empowered to make positive choices, set and achieve goals, and are guided to live a life rooted in Christ. This weekend at Lake Champion in Glen Spev, NY, the Young Life camp hosted moms from a wide geographical range. Some young mothers came from as near as Bridgeport, CT to as far away as Puerto Rico. See this amazing weekend recapped in the following video.
